Temperament and Compatibility: Generally peaceful but can be territorial, especially towards conspecifics or similar-shaped fish. It is best kept singly or in a large enough tank to avoid aggression. Compatible with a variety of semi-aggressive and peaceful tank mates but avoid housing with very small or slow-moving fish that may be harassed.
Diet: Omnivorous with a preference for meaty foods. Provide a varied diet including frozen mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, chopped seafood, and specialised puffer pellets. Occasional inclusion of algae or vegetable matter is beneficial.
