Lighting Requirements: Acropora corals thrive under intense lighting, ideally provided by metal halide, T5, or high-output LED systems. Aim for a PAR range of 250-400 to support healthy growth and vibrant pigmentation.
Water Flow: Strong, turbulent water flow is essential to prevent detritus accumulation and to promote optimal gas exchange. Use multiple powerheads or wavemakers to create randomised currents.
Placement: Position these corals higher in the aquarium to ensure they receive adequate light and flow. Maintain sufficient spacing from neighbouring corals to reduce aggression and allow for growth.
