Lighting Requirements: Acropora corals require strong, intense lighting to thrive, ideally provided by high-quality LED, T5, or metal halide systems. Aim for a PAR range of 250-400 µmol/m²/s to support optimal photosynthesis.
Water Flow: Moderate to strong, turbulent water flow is essential to prevent detritus accumulation and to promote healthy tissue growth. Position corals where water movement is variable but not directly blasting.
Placement: Place these corals higher in the aquarium to ensure they receive adequate light. Maintain sufficient spacing from neighbouring corals to reduce aggression and allow for growth.
