This medium to large specimen is prized for its vibrant blue and orange coloration and distinctive tusk-like teeth, making it a captivating addition to a mature marine aquarium.

Care Level: This species is best suited for advanced aquarists due to its size and specific care needs. It requires a well-established tank with plenty of hiding places and robust water quality management.

Temperament and Compatibility: Choerodon fasciatus is generally semi-aggressive. It can coexist with other large, robust fish but may prey on smaller invertebrates and fish, so caution is advised when selecting tank mates. Avoid housing with very small or timid species.

Diet: Carnivorous by nature, this wrasse thrives on a varied diet including meaty foods such as crustaceans, molluscs, and high-quality frozen or live marine preparations. Regular feeding of vitamin-enriched foods supports optimal health and coloration.
