Temperament and Compatibility: The Yasha Goby is generally peaceful and best kept with other non-aggressive tank mates. It forms a fascinating symbiotic relationship with pistol shrimps (Alpheidae family), often sharing a burrow. Avoid housing with large or aggressive fish that may stress or prey on it.
Diet: Carnivorous. Feed a varied diet of high-quality frozen or live meaty foods such as mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and finely chopped seafood. Multiple small feedings per day are recommended to mimic natural feeding habits.
Minimum Tank Size: A minimum of 60 litres (approximately 15 gallons) is recommended to provide sufficient space and stable water conditions.
