Clownfish are known for their peaceful temperament and compatibility with a variety of reef-safe tank mates. This pair has been bred in captivity, ensuring they are acclimatised to aquarium life and less likely to carry diseases or parasites common in wild-caught specimens.
Care Guidance: Maintain stable water parameters with a temperature range of 24-27°C, salinity between 1.023-1.025 SG, and pH of 8.1-8.4. Provide a minimum tank size of 75 litres to allow ample swimming space and territory establishment. A varied diet including high-quality marine pellets, frozen mysis shrimp, and finely chopped seafood will support optimal health and colouration.
Clownfish often form symbiotic relationships with anemones, but they will also thrive without one if provided with suitable rockwork and hiding places. Regular water changes and good filtration are essential to maintain water quality.
