Temperament: Generally peaceful but may show mild territorial behaviour towards conspecific males. Best kept singly or in a harem setup with one male and multiple females.
Diet: Carnivorous. Feed a varied diet including high-quality frozen mysis, brine shrimp, and specialised marine pellets or flakes. Supplement with live foods when possible to encourage natural hunting behaviour.
Minimum Tank Size: 120 litres (approximately 30 gallons) recommended to provide ample swimming space and territories.
Reef Compatibility: Yes, suitable for reef tanks. This species is generally reef safe but may occasionally nip at very small invertebrates.
Lighting and Water Flow: Moderate lighting and gentle to moderate water flow mimic natural habitat conditions.
