Choerodon fasciatus, commonly known as the Harlequin Tuskfish, is a visually stunning wrasse prized for its vivid blue and orange banding. This species is best suited for marine aquarists with some experience due to its active nature and specific care needs.
Care Level: Moderate to advanced. Requires stable water conditions and a well-established tank.
Temperament: Semi-aggressive. Can be territorial, especially towards smaller or more passive tankmates.
Diet: Carnivorous. Feeds on a variety of meaty foods including crustaceans, molluscs, and prepared frozen foods. Supplement diet with live or frozen brine shrimp and mysis shrimp.
