Temperament and Compatibility: Generally peaceful but can be territorial towards conspecifics or similar species. Compatible with other non-aggressive tank mates. Avoid housing with overly aggressive fish.
Diet: Omnivorous. Provide a varied diet including high-quality frozen mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, marine algae, and specialised prepared foods designed for butterflyfish. Supplement with live or frozen coral polyps if available.
Tank Requirements: Minimum tank size of 150 litres (40 gallons) recommended to provide ample swimming space and territories. Well-established reef or marine aquarium with live rock for grazing and hiding.
