Temperament: Generally peaceful but can be territorial towards conspecifics or similar species. Best kept singly or as a mated pair in larger tanks.
Diet: Omnivorous. Requires a varied diet including high-quality frozen foods, marine algae, and specialised butterflyfish preparations. Supplement with live rock to encourage natural grazing behaviour.
Minimum Tank Size: A minimum of 150 litres (approximately 40 gallons) is recommended to provide ample swimming space and territory.
Reef Compatibility: With caution. May nip at coral polyps and sessile invertebrates, so not recommended for sensitive reef tanks.
