Maintain a salinity of 1.023–1.025 SG, temperature between 22–26°C, and pH 8.1–8.4. Moderate water flow is ideal to mimic their natural habitat.

Feeding: These crabs are omnivorous scavengers and will accept a variety of foods including algae wafers, sinking pellets, and detritus. Supplement their diet with finely chopped marine meaty foods such as mysis shrimp or brine shrimp to ensure balanced nutrition.

Compatibility and Reef Safety: Uca vocans is generally peaceful but may display territorial behaviour towards conspecifics or similar species. They are considered reef safe with caution, as they may occasionally disturb small sessile invertebrates or delicate corals by burrowing. It is advisable to monitor their behaviour in reef setups.
