Care Level: Moderate to advanced due to size and specific habitat needs.
Temperament: Generally peaceful but can be territorial towards conspecifics or similar species. Best kept singly or in a large tank with ample space.
Diet: Carnivorous; feeds on small crustaceans, worms, and other meaty foods. Offer a varied diet including frozen mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and high-quality marine pellets.
Minimum Tank Size: At least 180 litres (approximately 50 gallons) to accommodate its active swimming and territorial behaviour.
Reef Compatibility: With Caution. May prey on small invertebrates and fish; suitable for fish-only or fish-dominant reef setups with robust invertebrates.
Lighting and Water Flow: Moderate lighting to mimic natural crepuscular conditions; moderate water flow preferred to replicate natural reef environments.
