The Naso lituratus, also known as the Naso Tang or Lipstick Tang, is a popular choice among marine aquarium enthusiasts due to its vibrant colours and active swimming behaviour. This extra large specimen is perfect for experienced hobbyists with spacious tanks.
Care Level: Moderate to advanced care is recommended. The Naso Tang requires stable water parameters and a well-maintained environment.
Temperament: Generally peaceful but can be territorial towards conspecifics or similar tang species. Best kept singly or in a large tank with plenty of swimming space.

Minimum Tank Size: At least 250 litres (approximately 65 gallons) to accommodate its active swimming and territorial behaviour.
Reef Safety: With Caution. May nip at certain coral polyps or sessile invertebrates, so monitor closely in reef setups.
