Temperament and Compatibility: Generally peaceful, Belonepterygion fasciolatum coexists well with other non-aggressive fish. Avoid housing with overly territorial or aggressive species to reduce stress.
Diet: This basslet thrives on a varied diet including high-quality frozen mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and finely chopped seafood. Supplement with marine pellets or flakes to ensure balanced nutrition.
Tank Requirements: A minimum tank size of 120 litres (approximately 30 gallons) is recommended to provide ample swimming space and territory. Maintain stable water conditions with temperatures between 24-27°C, salinity of 1.023-1.025 SG, and pH 8.1-8.4.
