Care Level: Moderate to advanced care is recommended. This species requires stable water parameters and a well-established aquarium.
Temperament: Semi-aggressive and territorial, especially towards conspecifics and similar species. It is best housed singly or with other robust tank mates.
Diet: Omnivorous. Provide a varied diet including marine algae, spirulina, high-quality angelfish preparations, mysis shrimp, and other meaty foods to ensure optimal health and vibrant coloration.
Minimum Tank Size: At least 180 litres (approximately 50 gallons) to provide ample swimming space and territories.
Lighting and Water Flow: Standard reef aquarium lighting is suitable. Moderate water flow mimicking natural reef conditions is ideal.
