Temperament: Generally peaceful but can be territorial towards conspecifics or similar-shaped wrasses. Best kept singly or in a large, well-structured aquarium to minimise aggression.
Diet: Carnivorous. Feed a varied diet including meaty foods such as mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, finely chopped seafood, and specialised marine pellets to ensure optimal health.
Minimum Tank Size: At least 250 litres (approximately 65 gallons) to provide ample swimming space and territory.
Lighting Requirements: Standard marine aquarium lighting is sufficient. No special lighting needs.
Water Flow: Moderate water flow mimicking natural reef environments is ideal.
Placement: Provide plenty of live rock for hiding and foraging. This species appreciates a well-decorated tank with caves and crevices.
