Centropyge flavissima, known as the Lemonpeel Angelfish, is a stunning addition to any marine aquarium. This large specimen displays a brilliant yellow body with subtle blue accents around the eyes and fins, making it a standout in reef setups.

Temperament: Semi-aggressive. It may show territorial behaviour, especially towards other dwarf angelfish or similar species. Best kept singly or as a mated pair in larger tanks.
Diet: Omnivorous. Provide a varied diet including marine algae, spirulina, mysis shrimp, and specialised angelfish preparations to ensure optimal health.
Minimum Tank Size: 120 litres (approximately 30 gallons) recommended to provide adequate swimming space and territory.
Reef Safety: With Caution. While generally considered reef safe, Centropyge flavissima may nip at corals or clam mantles, so monitor behaviour closely.
Lighting & Water Flow: Standard reef lighting and moderate water flow are suitable to mimic natural habitat conditions.
Placement: Provide plenty of live rock for grazing and hiding spots to reduce stress and territorial disputes.
