Amphiprion percula, commonly known as the Clownfish, is a popular and vibrant addition to marine aquariums. Our stock consists exclusively of tank-bred specimens, ensuring healthier fish that adapt well to captive conditions and help support sustainable aquarium keeping.
Temperament and Compatibility: Amphiprion percula is generally peaceful but can be territorial, especially when paired or kept with anemones. They are compatible with a wide range of peaceful marine species and are considered reef safe.
Diet: These clownfish are omnivorous and thrive on a varied diet including high-quality marine pellets, flakes, frozen mysis shrimp, and finely chopped seafood. Feeding should be done 1-2 times daily in small amounts.
Tank Requirements: A minimum tank size of 75 litres (20 gallons) is recommended to provide ample swimming space and territory. They benefit from the presence of host anemones such as Heteractis magnifica or Entacmaea quadricolor, though they will also thrive without one.
Water Parameters: Maintain stable marine conditions with temperature between 24-27°C, salinity at 1.023-1.025 SG, pH 8.1-8.4, and moderate water flow.
Origin: Not Provided (Tank-bred specimens).
