Diet: Carnivorous – feeds on small invertebrates and meaty foods. Offer a varied diet including frozen mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and high-quality marine pellets.
Tank Requirements: A minimum tank size of 120 litres is advised to provide sufficient swimming space. A sandy substrate is preferred to mimic natural habitat and allow natural foraging behaviour.
Compatibility: Reef safe with caution. May prey on small invertebrates; avoid housing with very small or delicate reef inhabitants.
Water Parameters: Maintain stable marine conditions with temperature between 24-27°C, salinity 1.020-1.025 SG, and pH 8.1-8.4.
