Care Level: Moderate to advanced. This species requires stable water parameters and a spacious aquarium.
Temperament: Generally peaceful and shy, but may become territorial with conspecifics or similar species.
Diet: Carnivorous. Feed a varied diet of meaty foods such as shrimp, squid, mussels, and specialised ray pellets to ensure optimal health.
Minimum Tank Size: At least 600 litres (approx. 130 gallons) to provide ample swimming space and a deep sandy substrate for burrowing.
