Temperament: Generally peaceful but may become territorial with conspecifics or similar species. Compatible with other non-aggressive tank mates.
Diet: Carnivorous. Feed a varied diet including high-quality frozen or live meaty foods such as mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and chopped seafood. Regular feeding 2-3 times daily is recommended.

Lighting Requirements: Standard marine aquarium lighting is sufficient. Avoid overly intense lighting to reduce stress.
Water Flow: Moderate water flow mimicking natural reef environments is ideal.
Placement: Provide plenty of hiding spots with live rock and open swimming areas. This fish appreciates a well-structured environment.
Origin: Indo-Pacific region.

This species is reef safe with caution as it may prey on small invertebrates and fish. It is best kept in fish-only or mixed species tanks where potential prey species are not at risk.
