Sarcophyton spp. (Yellow) is a popular soft leather coral known for its bright yellow colour and distinctive mushroom-like appearance. This tiny specimen is an excellent addition to marine reef tanks, providing natural movement and texture.

Lighting: Moderate lighting is recommended to maintain vibrant colour and healthy growth. LED or T5 lighting systems are suitable.

Water Flow: Moderate, indirect water flow is ideal to prevent tissue damage while ensuring proper gas exchange and nutrient delivery.

Placement: Place this coral on stable rockwork with enough space around it to allow for expansion and to avoid contact with aggressive neighbours. It thrives well in mid to lower areas of the tank.

Care Level: Easy to moderate. Sarcophyton spp. are generally hardy but benefit from stable water parameters and regular monitoring.

Compatibility: Reef safe with adequate spacing from other corals to prevent chemical warfare or physical damage.
